His mother (Martha Tompkins) may have been a daughter of Bartholomew Tompkins & Martha Lake, but I have only the 2 names and absolutely nothing else after 25+ years of research. My mother died while I was quite a young boy and I am trying to identify and learn about her heritage as much as is possible. You can't possibly imagine how much I would appreciate your assistance.
