Were you able to get proof someway of their being children of Ruhamah? I am in DAR, and since Ruhamah's father Ezbon Barnum was a Revolutionary War soldier from Fairfield Co, CT, It would be nice to somehow get the proof of the lineage from Ezbon and Ruhamah to Orvis and Luransy. Do you know where Luransy and Orvis were born? I recently learned Orvis was born in Dutchess County,NY, but would like to learn more of the particulars--what town, date of his birth, etc. Do you know if there were more siblings, their names, births, place of birth, etc.? Where did Luransy live later on in her life? Orvis went to Delaware County, NY with his parents, met a Mary Burhans there and my lineage comes from them. Thank you, Marilyn H.
