Nancy - Read your Roots Web message regarding Francis Amelia Dimon. I have information on Jonathan Sturges Beers, who married Francis, but not much on his wife. My information is from a published book on The Descendants of Anthony Beers. Francis is listed as being born in Salem, Ma. on May 12, 1832, married on Aug. 23, 1852, daughter of James & Amelia [Rope] Dimon. She was referred to by a New Orleans newspaper as "The Florence Nightingale of America". Nine children are listed. If you would like that information, I would be glad to send it to you.
