I have Hall's in my maternal line, but only collaterally. Here is what I found on your Benajah Hall on Family Tree Maker CD#215 "Early Rhode Island Families": Benaiah (could be a mis-spelling) Hall: Abstracts of Richmond, RI Land Evidences by Nellie M. C. Beaman: Page 231-232 Joseph KINION Jr. of Rhode Island yeoman, and Catharine Kinyon his wife, and Joseph Kinyon the father of the aforementioned, Josephn Kinyon to Jonathan Potter of Rhode Island yeoman, dated March 27, 1764 ack. 27 September 1764. Winessed: Benaiah or Benajah Hall, and John Webster. Next entry with the spelling you used on the CD is: >From Vol. 12 Abstracts of Westerly Wills: Hall, Joseph of We, yeoman. will dated 14 October 1755 proved on 27 December 1755. pages 469-470, Mentions: wife Susannah Hall, sons: Ekekiel Hall, who has had Joseph Hall, Ebenezer Hall, Hekeziah Hall, and BENAJAH HALL, under 21.Daughter Susannah Hall under 18.Witnessed: Ephraim Hall, Jonathan Hall and Daniel McCoon. Next entry for BENAJAH HALL on the index shows: Hall, Joseph had wife Susannah and children: Ekeziel Hall, Joseph Hall, Ebenezer Hall, Hekeziah Hall and BENAJAH Hall, under 21 and Susannah daughter, under 18 mentioned in his will dated 14 October 1755. (Listed under this Hall surname for Joseph after this paragraph is the following information): Joseph had widow Sarah P. and dau Nancy S. under 14, mpr 26 April 1825 We: 3B18 Joseph F. had children, Slocum, Lorenzo, John, Elizabeth, Sarah, Lucy and JOseph F. all under 14 mpr, July 11, 1825 North Kingston, 24:41 as an example, there are many many more listed under this one paragraph, if you would like me to copy and paste in an email...please send me an email asking for it to NJNUNEZ@aol.com, directly.
