Since most people prior to 1800 or so were Congregational, i would presume hearing a city name with church that they would be so and start searching there...if the church was Trinity or a saints name, i would look at Episcopal...but if the man had an obviously ethnic name...i would look at early Roman Catholic churches << Hello Listers, I hope someone can help me with this question-----In > "The Families of Old Fairfield" by D.
