You might try the Barber Collection. I think I have seen Charles Griffin listed there. I just didn't make any connection until I found the Mallories. Here is more of the citation. * The first rec. at Stratford; the other two are given on authority of Hist. of Stratford, Was an other son Jonathan, who m. at New Haven, 16 May 1717, Mehitabel Mallory? Her sister Elizabeth m. John Booth of Stratford, who on 22 Apr. 1721 “to incourige my Brother in law Jonathan Griffin of New Haven to settle with me on my farm in Ripton” gave him four acres for a homelot. Jonathan became the pioneer of Quaker Farms, Oxford. I found the Vital Records of New Haven very helpful for other connecting lines.
