    1. [CTFAIRFI] Re: Rebecca WEEKS & Reuban TAYLOR of Norwalk
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Taylor, Weeks, Morgan, Van Tuyl, Wilsey Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/TZ.2ADE/112.2.1 Message Board Post: Sorry, I don't have your Reuban at all. I have (starting in 1630 with the immigration) of 3 Johns, then 3 Reubans, thenThaddeus,Wakeman, then the name died out when Wakeman's daughter Lydia married Jabez Taylor in 1846 in Wyoming Co., PA. This Taylor family started out in MA, in 1630, then migrated to Norwalk, CT. John 2, died in the French and Indian Wars. Reuban and my Rebecca moved to Westchester Co., N.Y., then on to Scranton, PA. Their son Reuban was in both the army and the navy during the REv. War., as was my Reuban, altho" he was really too old to serve. He, Rebecca, Thaddeus and his wife Mable, and my Wakeman are all buried in the Falls, PA Cem. some in unmarked graves, but Reuban has a Rev. War bronze marker. Sorry we can't connect. I've been looking for the parents of Rebecca (WEEKS), Mable (MORGAN), Thaddeus wife and Elizabeth (VAN TUYL), Wakeman's wife for many years. Very frustrating since I can go back to the 1400's on the TAYLOR's in England. Thanks for writing and if you every run across my Rebecca, plase write again. Good Hunting. Earlene
