They were married on Long Island (don't know where yet) pre-1867, had their first child on Long Island, and then moved to Bridgeport, CT. where Jacob ran a carpenter business (Valentine and Davis). Had three children in Bridgeport and then headed west eventually to CA. Does anyone have any information on this family--or the business??? Delia's maiden name could have been Hathaway or Palmer.
