Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/TZ.2ADE/3373.1 Message Board Post: In CT, all records are kept at the Town Clerk's office at the local town hall. If you belong to a genealogical association you have the right to look at the original records for free. The local library should also have a copy of the origianl church records. Since Norwalk was one of the origianl towns in CT you shouldn't have trouble finding the early records. You may want to call the Town Clerk's office to make sure that they have these early records. Otherwise the Bridgeport Library has a large genealogy section.
