He may have been married first to Ellen Cooney. They had a son born in 1881 John William Cannon. It appears both Ellen and the child died at the time of his birth or soon afterwards. Mary Brady Cannon and James had two sons Walter and James Jr. All families had emigrated to Ct. from Ireland. I want to know the county in Ireland they had resided in before emigrating. I believe there may be Cannon relatives still living in Greenwich. Anyone? Lily
