Have found an old tombstone which reads: Cpt. Peleg Burritt born in Stratford, Conn. Jan 8th 1721 died in Hanover, Penna. April 10th 1789 Deborah Beardsley wife of Capt. Peleg Burritt born in Stratford, Conn. Feb 1, 172 (?) died in Hanover Penna. Aug 7th 1802 Can't seem to find much more on these two, but would like to pass the info on to anyone researching the families. The Hanover referred to above is Hanover township, Luzerne county, PA. Please let me know if you think this info would be useful to your page. I know there were countless settlers from Ct who eventually settled the Wyoming Valley, perhaps one of them is looking for these two. Pat Krivak
