Ct Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ct/Fairfield/13416 Surname: Myers ------------------------- In 1908 my great grandparent two of their children at the Fairfield County Orphanage in Norwalk, Ct. One other child was left at the Danbury Home for Homeless Children. Two boys ages 14 and 12 were made wards of the state. They would attend school during the day and then work on area farms. This family was from Sherman, Fairfield Cty, CT. I have been able to find the children who were in Norwalk and Danbury. My question is where do I look for the two oldest children? I have looked at the 1910 Federal Census at the towns surrounding Sherman and have found nothing. Any suggestions as were I can look now or who I can write to find out this information. Thanks, Bev
