My grandfather, Charles Bourne Kemp, b 1900 KY was descended from Bourne Goggin, b 1798 KY m his first cousin Amanda Fitzalan Fox descended from Rivchard Goggin b 1761 Bedford Co VA m Nancy Irvine descended from Stephen Goggin b 1735 IRE. I have no idea where the Bourne came from, but since every generation since Bourne Goggin has used the name, must mean something to someone! And although I know your Bourne line is in New England, there were a lot of New England Quakers who came down to Bedford Co Va pre Revolutionary War. Phew! Any help?
