Maybe it is CT, but the Ct Soc of Genealogists have always had at least one person in every town to do research for out of staters and the charge the last time i did it was $10. and I am sure it has gone up. I'd like Valerie's email addy. I live two towns away and need a record in Bridgeport, but the city is so dangerous, I won't drive in there and would rather pay someone to go for me. Been mugged there already and my boyfriend was pistol whipped getting money out of his bank. I would be able to got this obit for you.
