    1. [CTFAIRFI] Look ups
    2. Hi Gang, Sorry about the delay! Wanted to let you all know, I have been so busy that my email is far behind! We have been digging out of 13 inches of snow since Sunday, and it seemed like everytime we thought we done, the plows would come by and block our driveway again! Had to do the sidewalks also, last mail delivery was last Friday! Finally got some on Tuesday! What ever happened to "through rain, sleet, snow."...? My brother-in-law would cringe at me complaining.....oh well! I have my 12 year old helping with the bio's, she is learning the keyboard in school. (and loves it) I have not done this before, and it seems like I am not really helping as far a look ups go..... so I am just going to upload them to the Fairfield County site, doing it alphabetically.....will send a sample (it's on my laptop) some time today......one bad thing about downloading mail to read off line, is it is downloaded to the computer working at that time, and I did download mail to read on Thursday, last week, hoping on the long ride home from Florida, I could help... but now, I am home and have to work between the laptop and the desk top..... I hope to do more as the weeks go on, now we get to get our files ready for the accountant for tax season, and being self employed, have to deal with The State Insurance Fund, they want to come and audit the books, plus now my homeowners insurance is coming to look at our roof in the back room, the heavy snow "Brook the main Beam" holding it up, and The room is useless, snow is dripping in and keeping us cold and wet. This is part of the winter months, can't wait for spring! Please bare with me, and I really Hope I can help you in the next few days! Keep warm and safe for now, Terre

    3. Posted on: Fairfield Co. Ct Query Forum Reply Here: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/gc/USA/Ct/Fairfield/3185 Surname: Brown, Wheeler, Smith, Anderson, Westcott ------------------------- Diana, Your family line pattern sounds similar to my Brown line. My ancestor William Brown was born circa 1784, lived in Vermont, before moving to Malone, Franklin Co. NY. He had a brother named Jonathan, who it seems migrated to NY with him. William married Diadama Wheeler, supposedly born Vermont. I can't seem to find William and Jonathan's backgrounds. Any help appreciated. Barbara Benware Burt

Ct Query Forum Reply Here: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/gc/USA/Ct/Fairfield/3184 Surname: Brown, Westcott, Smith, Anderson, Wheeler ------------------------- I saw your genealogical posting and was wondering if you could help me. I am looking for a William Brown born circa 1784 (where I don't know, except Vermont has no record of his birth). He probably had a brother named Jonathan. He married a Diadama Wheeler, lived in Vermont at one point, and moved to Malone, Franklin Co., NY before 1820. This is the proverbial needle in a haystack. Any help appreciated.
