I thank you for the correct name of the cemetery for Aaron Downes. He is buried in the Jennings plot as his sister Ruth was married to a Jennings. I cannot seem to get his death certificate from Bridgeport as he died in 1842 and they said that I would have to go back to Fairfield to look for it at that early date. Guess I will need to go back to the cemetery to find out who all the people are that are buried in that particular plot as well. Thank you for your help. Fay Blais

He was born in CT. in 1753, died in CT. in 1835. He was a Revolutionary War Soldier, and was pensioned from Fairfield County, CT. His family seemed to be from Brookfield, CT.. He had a daughter Ruhamah Barnum who married a William Mann. They had a son named Orvis Mann, born in Dutchess County, NY.
