    3. They're trying to get people to put thier data into thier site---that's where they'll get all those billion names.....then they will cut CDs to sell back to you--or you can subscribe for a short time.....it's pure scam!!!! They've posted on all the other lists and been thrown off most of them. Don't bother with them....Total SCAM!!! Some records indicate his father was Jonathan Fox but I have no proof to substantiate this. I recently found information that one of Benjamin Fox's children is buried in the same cemetary plot as Elisha Fox and Sally Hedger so there must be some connection. Please email me at cderosia@hotmail.com. Maybe together we can sort it all out. Thanks.

Thought I had it all worked out until someone threw a wrench into it with info on my Elisha Fox and Sally Hedger. So now am following his thoughts and looking to to see who the direct ancestors of my Elisha are. It appears he could be the grandson of Johnathan (Jonathan) Fox 1713 and Mary Brockway, but everywhere I search I find no descendants for this couple. Also, looking at the possibilty that he could descend from Jonathan's brother Amos Fox and Deborah Minor, they did have an Elisha who married Kidder about 1780 and my Elisha was born 1779, marriage date could be off. Any chance you have a Jonathan Fox and Mary Brockway in your line?

It's surrounded by Chaplin and Hampton above, Windham to the left (west), Canterbury to the right (east), and Sprague below. It is the fourth town in from the eastern border (the right side), pretty much in the middle horizontally. (i.e., it's close to the right center edge of CT.) I don't think there are any big, well-known towns nearby to give you a better landmark. Do you own a map of CT? If not, you can use Yahoo maps to find it. Just enter Scotland, CT or 06264 (zip code). Hope this helps!

    1. [CTFAIRFI] Amwell Valley Cemetery NJ
    2. Hi all, Sunday just to get out of the house, a friend from Hunterdon County took me for a ride in the country side to show me some old cemeteries she had previously visited with the Historical Society. We stopped at the Amwell Valley Cemetery located on the corner of County Road 514 and Dutch Lane in Ringoes, Hunterdon County, NJ. I was not prepared but did jot down a few headstones. There are several Bellis, Fisher, Dilto, Benson, Kirkpatrick, Servis, Boss, Young and Higgins (to name a few) head stones. If anyone is interested I would be more than happy to return to this cemetery (prepared this time) and gather information. 3. There was a Skip Toth living in Easton. He was very involved in programs for kids - Boy Scouts, a Sports Club, and many other things. He also drove one of the school buses. The town park is now named after him. I think his name was Steven or Stephen. He was a super guy, and would do anything for "us kids." Beth

His parents were William H. Woodruff and Emma A. Radabaugh. They would've been born about 1870. Family lore states that William was born in New York. He installed plumbing systems in New York City high-rises, while residing in Connecticut. At some point William and Emma relocated to Tuxedo Park, (I think Orange County) New York where they continued the plumbing business in private homes. Emma and William had 4 children: Edward Gilmore Woodruff (married Augusta "Gussie" Ackerman) Arthur Woodruff Emma Woodruff (married a Joe Harrington - New Jersey?) Edith Woodruff (married a Arthur Parson) I wish I knew more beyond that, put perhaps that gives you a clue.

Surnames: Woodruff, Radabaugh, White Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/TZ.2ADE/84.1 Message Board Post: I suspect a connection to your White family. I am awaiting further information from a relative, who told me that she has a photo of great-great-grandparents labeled Mr. and Mrs. White. The reason that I think it might connect to you is that I got the social security record for Edward Gilmore Woodruff and it states that he was born on 19 Sept. 1892 in Westport, Connecticut. His parents were William H. Woodruff and Emma A. Radabaugh (born about 1870.) The relative thought that Emma was born in England, which would lead me to believe that it would've been William H. Woodruff's mother who would've been a White. The family also located to Orange County, New York and Passaic County, New Jersey. Have you come across a White/Woodruff marriage?
