Do you have any information on your mother's Uncle George O'Brien of Stamford? Do you know his date of birth? Do you know his date and place of death and burial? My Uncle George O'Brien was born 14 Apr 1866 in Lowell MA. His parents were George E O'Brien and Kittie S Stevens. His mother Kittie Stevens O'Brien died 29 Apr 1889 in Lowell. His father married 2nd Emma Tracy on 2 Jul 1890 in Lowell. His 2nd wife dropped the "O" from the name because she did not like the Catholic name. She died sometime before 1905. I have not found a death. He married 3rd Laura Margaret Tait on 18 Oct 1905. My father, Robert E Brien was born 10 Nov 1912 in Lowell. I do not know of any other children of George E O'Brien. This does not mean that there were none. Every Census and public record that my grandfather filled out he gave different information. At one time I had 4 different birth dates for my grandfather. I am interested to know more about your mother's uncle.
