Hi Judi, I do not have any perfect matches for you, but some possible Stevens's families with Mary sometimes called Polly and Sarah sometimes called Sally. Silvanus Stevens born 1754 in New Canaan, Fairfield County, Connecticut married Sarah Hoyt. They had Sarah Stevens born 19 Jan 1804 and Polly Stevens born 20 May 1806. I do not have a marriage for either of those girls. Reuben Stevens born 29 Mar 1761 in Stamford married Polly Francer and they had a daughter named Polly Stevens born 3 Jan 1789. Joseph Stevens born 8 April 1730 in Stamford married Sarah Lockwood. They had a daughter named Sarah, but she would be too old because she was born in 1761 and their daughter Mary Stevens was born in 1775. That may be too old also. Abraham Stevens born 4 Oct 1750 in Stamford, married Charlotte and they had a daughter named Mary Stevens who was born about 1777. I have lots of families with the surname Jones from Stamford, but no a Watson Jones. I have many Selleck family names, but not a Thomas. Hi Jeanne, I have 2 Nancy Stevens in my file. Only one possibly fits. Nancy Stevens born 22 Feb. 1791 in Stamford, Fairfield, Connecticut. Her parents are Joseph Stevens II and Rhonda Seeley. I do not have a marriage for her and I do not have a death date. I can give you her parents' information if you would like to explore that possibility. I have 16 Sarah Stevens in my file. There was not any of them that seem to fit your Sarah. I have many Palmers in my file, but not even one named Elias. I know this research can be frustrating. I have ancestors buried in the Norwalk Cemetery and many cemeteries around Fairfield county. What Stevens and Benedict family members do you have? I also have Beebe and Starr members married into our families. I would like to share information, if our families connect to each other. I have a great many descendants of Thomas and Obadiah Stevens, who were part to the Early Settlers of Stamford, Connecticut. Benedict, was a Deacon and comittee member of the church 6May 1850 Pg 49 Cornelia E Benedict and Harriet E Benedict having been propounded agreeably to the rules of this church were after assesnting to the articles of Faith and receiving the ordinances of Baptism received to the communion and fellowship the this church. Mar 4 1855 B.K. Northrop, Clerk Pg 57 Jesse L Benedict and Calvin H Kendal were elected Deacons of the First Congregational Church on Feb 5, 1852 B.K. Northrop, Clerk Pg 59 Emeline (Keeler) Benedict was regularly dismissed and recommended to the Presbyterian Church in Lysander NY Jan 24 1857 B.K.N, Clerk Pg 67 Mrs. Delia Benedict was received to the commjnion and fellowship of this church by letter as follows: This may certify that Mrs. Delia Benedict is a member in communion of the Presbyterian Church of Mount Kisco (this is in New York) in good and regular standing. As such, she is, at her own request hereby dismissed and affectionately recommended to the fellowship of the Presbyterian Church of Ridgefield or of any other church of our connection with whom God in his province may appoint her residence; and when received by them her pecular relation to this church will be disolved. by order of the Session Andrew Shiland Moderator given at Mt.
