    3. My Warren, but you do come from a bunch of Reverends;0) I will glean what more there is on Rev. Robert ---- and "get back to you" It shouldn't be too hard to sift out as the book "Life of Philander Chase" is pretty much laid out chronological. This is ONE book I am not underlining and am treating it like the treasure it is;so might take a bit longer to pull the information out. Interesting term to me is that the authour Laura Chase Smith often in the book refers to the Episcopal Church as the American Church. Of course I understand the reasoning, just had not heard it that way tis all. Soon! Harriet Chase

Just five in my direct ancestry (Wm FLETCHER, Saml STOW, Henry FLYNT, Josiah DWIGHT, James WETMORE); distant uncles account for a few more (Leonard HOAR, Seth FLETCHER, another DWIGHT?, Josiah FLYNT, Izrahiah WETMORE Jr., R G Wetmore, Wm PARTRIDGE II, John PARTRIDGE, maybe some others, plus uncles-by-marriage such as Joseph LAMSON of Rye, NY.) First cousins of direct ancestors -- the only ones I can think of are Izrahiah WETMORE III and James PIERPONT. Yeah, guess you're right. > I will glean what more there is on Rev. I dimly recall something about the post-Revolution American Episcopalians "stealing" the apostolic succession by having their first bishop consecrated by a Scottish Episcopalian bishop because the Anglicans in England wouldn't cooperate. I may have that wrong; we Presbyterians have no bishops.
