    3. Well, don't get too breathless in Seattle <g>. It would take a major miracle for the Mariners to get past either the Yanks or the A's. And most likely it will be the A's with their ferocious pitching :-( The Wet Birds are 2-3, which isn't exactly what your multibillionaire owner Paul Allen hired Mike Holmgren to do. (I'm a Holmgren fan, BTW, and if anyone can pull it out, he can.) Dennis Erickson is getting a cool one mil for the last year of his Seahawk contract. One Swede replaced by another. Yrs aye, Warren Wetmore No ancestors played pro football :-) but (probably) a modern-day distant cuz, Tim Dwight of the Atlanta Dirty Birds. The DWIGHTs definitely were a CRV family. ----- Original Message ----- From: "quirkje" <quirkje@email.msn.com> To: <CT-RIVER-VALLEY-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, October 07, 2000 11:49 PM Subject: Re: [CRV] Quiet List > Wellllllllll, I'd have to echo Fred's thoughts...not so much about the list > activity, but about those great Mariner's!!!! > > Us Seattle-ites have had few occasions to get excited, so we will enjoy > every minute....that is, before the Seahawk's game tomorrow!!!! > > Jane > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Fred Jones" <bugler103@home.com> > To: <CT-RIVER-VALLEY-L@rootsweb.com> > Sent: Saturday, October 07, 2000 9:37 PM > Subject: [CRV] Quiet List > > > > I agree with Harriet.
