Thanks for the post...I love getting history like this...now I'm wondering if the grant in VA was established by Quaker's coming from England. I have a Pierce / Peirce / Pearce line that I can't figure out and was told by a fellow researcher that my line was Quaker...he won't send information to reference his line, which ties into mine, so I'm still searching for Pierce's.
