HI List I hope maybe somebody will be able to help me with this, I have been looking for this man for a long time he is my ggggrandfather, Here is all the info I have for him. Joel RICHARDSON enlisted in the War of 1812, at Derby CT. He says he was born in Hartford CT. Captain B.S. Edgerton unit, he enlisted in the U.S. Infantry. He is listed a soldier from VT. He next appears in Wheeling VA. He married Catherine Davis 1/7/1832. Hartford CT. has no record of him neither does Hartford VT. I am trying to find out where he was born and who his parents are. Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated Thanks Becky
