Hi Everyone, I am pleased to announce the following resources have been uploaded to the Hampden County site and are currently available. Carol Maslon has forwarded tombstone transcriptions for the following seven Hampden County cemeteries: Monson - Bethany Road Cemetery - 1312 Records Monson - Cotton Hollow (also known as Day Burying Ground) - 104 Records Monson - Grout Cemetery - 45 Records Monson - Main Street Cemetery - 78 Records Monson - North Main Street Cemetery - 140 Records Three Rivers (Palmer) - Old St. Ann Cemetery - 87 Records Wilbraham - East Wilbraham Cemetery - 596 Records What would we do without our wonderful volunteers? These transcriptions represent an incredible amount of time and effort on Carol's part and I thank her for this valuable contribution to the site. Take a moment to send a thank you e-mail to her if any of these files prove useful to you -- I am sure she will appreciate knowing her work has been helpful in research efforts! Secondly, another high school yearbook is online. Holyoke High School class of 1945 is available now and has individual photos of graduating seniors, yearbook text descriptions of the students, a list of faculty and some sports and social photos. A bit more contemporary, but fun and interesting nonetheless. DOB is likely 1926-27 for the students featured here. Finally, the compiled list of Hampden County cemeteries has been updated. Many people have sent in updates or corrections with various details and there are a couple additions, largely due to the new transcriptions mentioned above. As always, these new additions are linked directly from the Hampden County home page available at http://www.rootsweb.com/~mahampde/ Cheers, Laurel O'Donnell Hampden County Coordinator
