Arlyn: I too am looking for information on a John Morrison from VT, likely the Danville, Caledonia area. He married Mary J. (surname?), and they had the following children: Harriet M. (b. 21 Jul 1833) Alonzo B. (b. 5 Jul 1835) Calvin (b. 1 Apr 1837) Angeline (b. 3 Jun 1838) Evaline (b. 18 Sep 1840) Harriet, my ancestor, married Charles Freeman Emerson on 2 Mar 1850 in Manchester (some confusion as to which one). They moved to Wisconsin sometime before 1880 as John's and Mary's names appear after those of Charles and his family in the 1% sampling of the 1880 WI census sampling found on the Internet. While you are likely looking at an earlier John Morrison, we may still have a connection somewhere here. Judy
