Cynthia-- There is a book called, Soldiers in King Phillip's War, by George Madison Bodge, A. B. This book, written, when I don't know, but was printed for the author, 1896. This is the most comprehensive book written on this subject. It covers the years from 1620 until after 1690. It shows regiments, and the soldiers in each one, how much they were paid, gives genealogies of most of the officers, and tells the story of the Indians, etc. Anyone who wishes to know anything about this war, should read this book.
