Why dont you post on the CRV and the MBC......the generation of Phillips that you have completed and by that info, someone could have an answer or ideas where to go next. --------------------------------------- Now as for Phillips/Philips..and there were many before 1800, here are some early Phillip families.... 1. George, freeman at Dorchester,Mass1631; moved to Windsor,Conn 1636 6. Henry, a butcher, of Dedham,Mass. 1639, then to Boston. 7. John, died at Portsmouth, NH,1642 8. John, baker, came to N.E. 1630; in Duxbury,Mass 1639; removed to Marshfield 9. John, inhabitant of Wenham,Mass,1647 10.John, of Wales, was at Casco,Maine,1642; moved to Kittery,1684 11.John, master mariner, brother of Henry, married at Charlestown,Mass,1655 12.Joseph, inhabitant of Boston, 1684 13. Martin, living at Medfield in 1664 14. Michael, settled at Newport, Rhode Is., 1688 15. Nicholas,butcher, brother of Henry,settled Dedham,Mass,1636; later to Weymouth,Mass 16.
