Marla: Ware...it was originally called "Ware River Parish" in 1750 changed to Ware in 1761. Ware has parts that were part of Palmer and Brookfield up to 1823. If you cannot find your info in Ware...check out the other 2 towns. I have a transcription of the Ware River Parish records from the time of the original petition by 34 landowners in 1742, up to about 1752. I also have a copy of the original petition, from Mass Achieves, with the original signatures of the petitioners. The records are available from the FHC, in Film 0879883. I will be glad to make a copy of the original petition and the signatures of the petitioners. I also have, from the Ware VR, from the Corbin Collection, a plat of the locations of all of the original property holders. That I have scanned, and can E-Mail to any one upon request.
