I really have a life, but don't feel well enough to tend to it; so looked in an older dictionary that I have; the word closest is "hogreeve " - in New England an officer having the care of stray hogs. Regardless, of the exact meaning,think you might be stuck with the hogs ^ ; ^ Harriet
