    3. Any question marks (?) you see are because I'm having a hard time reading the handwriting. Some of it is in very faded pencil. If anyone has a guess as to what it says, please let me know. Carol White HENRY PECK FAMILY Henry Peck born at Berlin Con Januy 3 1795 Jerusha Clark born at Hartford Con March 23 1797 They were married at Middletown Con Novr 9 1818 Horace Clark their first child born Jany 10 1820 Henry their 2d child Born July 10 & Died Sept 3 1822 Emily Cooke their 3d child Born Jany 16 & Died Sept 4 1824 Henry their 4th Child Born Aug 31 1827 William Cooke their 5th Child Born Oct 25 1830 Lorenzo Bennett their 6th cChild Born Dec 24 1835 Henry Peck died at New Haven at 7 o’clock on Friday, March first, 1867 aged 72 years & 2 months lacking 2 days. Jerusha Clark, his wife, died in New Haven, Ct March 11 1887 At the date, April 13. 1869, the four sons of Henry Peck have children or have lost them as herein written. Horace Clark, oldest son of Henry Peck married Julia Hayes of Newark, N.J. There were born to them, Emily, Julia, Helen Frances, Henry, Charlotte Elizabeth, Horace, Charles and Frederick. To the second son (who married Susan Scott of the town of New Haven) there were born two girls; namely – Jessy and Francis, their middle names not now recollected. To William C. Peck, who married Grace Bouton (a grand-daughter of Beriah Bradley of New Haven) there were born children as follows: Mary Amelia, now about fifteen years of age; William Henry, about twelve years old; Harriet Jerusha, about ten; Pauline Frances, Grace Leonora, George Bouton. Flossie Lorenzo B. Peck married Ellen M. Pierpoint and to them were born two girls – Jennie Pierpoint and Ellen Maria. The first wife of Henry Peck Jr. was born 1835 and died April 12th. 1869, aged 34 years. She was one of two daughters of Charles S. Scott of New Haven, at one time high Sheriff of that county. She was buried in the Scott family lot in Grove Street Cemetery, New Haven. For his second wife Henry Peck, no longer jr., married Carrie E. Ballard, daughter of Matthew and Mary Parr Blasdale, who were formerly of Nottingham, England. This was in February 27. 1875. Jessie Eugenia Peck, daughter of Henry Peck of New Haven, died at 191 Franklin Avenue, Brooklyn, NY, Sunday, Dec 2, 1888 and was buried in Grove Street Cemetery, the Monday following, at New Haven, Ct., HENRY PECK’S REMEMBRANCES The following is written by Henry Peck (aged 63) from the best of his knowledge as it stood at date May 5, 1891. Children of William C. Peck and Grace Bradley Bouton, both of whom are now dead. Mary (Minnie) Amelia Peck will be 36 years old the 19th of May, this year, 1891. William Henry Peck, born Oct 14. 1856, married Ida E. Crate. They had two children, Stephen B. and Gracie. They went to Kenvahall (?), Ills to live. Harriet Jerusha Peck is now about 33 years old and lives at Bristol, Conn. unmarried. Pauline Frances (Fanny is about 5 years younger than Hattie. She is the wife of Thomas Stulles (?) and they have two children. Grace Leonora (Leonora is crossed out and Lillian is written over it) married Richard N. (?) Squires, a widower with two children, Maude and Alice. They have born to them a boy, Jesse Squires. George B. Bouton was educated by his uncle Dr. George B. Bouton, a brother of Mrs. William C. Peck. Florence will be 21 years old in July. Helen (crossed out and Ellen written over it) Lorena must be in her 19th year, at this time. Numerous newspaper clipping were pasted here about the death of Mrs. Grace B. Peck(March 29 1886) and then this was handwritten. >From the Waterbury Republican. The internment was in Evergreen cemetery, in the lot of W. C. Peck, her husband, New Haven.
