Hi! I am looking for a Ryant/Riant family in E. Haddam area. There is a John Ryant listed as being on the muster roll of the 3rd Co. of the 2nd CT Reg under Maj. Jos. Spencer, for the campaign of 1758. I have a 4xg grandfather, Jos. Ryant, who was suppose to have been born in E. Haddam c1757 and died 1849 in Farmington, ME. Joseph was Rev vet serving in or for MA and NH. Anyone know anything about John or Joseph? Thanks, Jan
