Peck, who died Feb 12, 1874, had for wife Ellen M. Pierpoint who died May 4 1864 aged 24 years. Henry Pecks 1st wife who was Susan Scott, died in New Haven April 12, 1869. His second wife was Carrie E. Ballard, married Feb 27 1875, by Rev. Mr. Murdock at New Haven. She was sister of Mrs. Joseph Bourne of Bridgeport, Conn. William C. Pecks wife was Grace B. Bouton, grand-daughter of Beriah Bradley of New Haven. Died March 29, 1886 at Waterbury, Conn. Newspaper clipping Squires-Peck In this city, Nov 24th, at Trinity Church, by the Rev. H. P. THE CLARK FAMILY There was a man named Clark, one of the officers on the Mayflower, from whom, it is believed our Clark family is descended. Seth Clark of Hartford, an engraver, had the full record, and I had a copy, but cannot now find it. The following is a transcript from the record in a bible given to my brother Horace C. Peck and by him given to his grandson Hal. It is in the handwriting of Jennie P. Peck and made by her partly from a sampler record. Samuel Clark was born August 13, 1743. He married Elizabeth Bunce who was born June 25, 1753. They lived and died in Hartford, Conn. He died June 9, 1813 aged 70 years. She died April 16, 1814 aged 61 years. They had eleven children. 1st Huldah, born April 10, 1772. She married Reynold Benton. They lived and died in Hartford and they had six children. 2nd Elizabeth Bunce, born May 13. 1774. She died Oct. 9. 1776. 3rd Samuel, born July 22, 1776. He was married to Mary Buckland. They lived and died in Hartford. They had eight children. 4th, Elizabeth, born Jan. 13. 1779. She married Oliver Miner. They lived in Herkimer County, NY. He died there and she died at Cohoes, N.Y. They had four children. 5th, Sarah, born July 21. 1781. She married Uzal Miner. They lived in Hartford; he died there. She died in Springfield, Mass. They had four children. 6th, Mary, born Jan. 11. 1784. She married Samuel Barnard. They lived in Litchfield (south farms, since named Morris) He died there and she died in New Haven, at the home of Mayor Henry Peck April 23, 1869, aged 85 years. They had no children. 7th Epaphras, born May 4, 1788. He married twice. His first wife was Susan Lyman of Northampton, Mass. She had five children. They lived and died at Middletown, Conn. His second wife was Sarah Hall of Middletown. She had five children. She died at Middletown. 8th, Nancy, born Nov 17, 1788 (above the last 8 is a 5) She married twice. Her first husband was David Golden. They had one child. Her second husband was Mr. Gill. They lived in Batavia, N.Y. He died there. They had five children. 9th, James born April 10, 1791. He married Nancy Cole. They were married in New Haven and lived there. They had two children. 10th, Horace, born March 12, 1794. He married Emily Nichols. They lived in Middletown and died there. They had eight children. 11th, Jerusha born March 23, 1797. She married Henry Peck. They lived in New Haven. He died there March 1. 1867. She died March 11, 1887 aged nearly 90 years.
