    1. [CRV] Hannah Osborn, the daughter of John Osborn

    3. I need help in getting my Hannah Osborns straighten out. The John Osborn that married Ann Oldage (only child of Richard Oldage) They had a daughter Hannah on Dec 18, 1657 at Windsor, Weymouth, MA. Does anyone have the birth records for this town to see if it was 1657 or 1651 and if it listed parents.? According to Ancestry website below they have this Hannah (John and Ann Oldage Osborn) married 1st to Elias Shadock (DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT Year?) and Benjamin Eggleston in 1678. In the 2nd website below it has this same Hannah (of John and Ann Oldage Osborn) born in Dec 18 1651 and married to John Ashcraft (September 12, 1670 in Stonington, New London County Connecticut.) He died in 1680 and she married second? Deliverance Blackman (1695 in Stonington, New London County Connecticut ). Now in Savage it lists the Shaddock and Eggleston marriages A Genealogical Dictionary of The First Settlers of New England, Before 1692 Volume #3 By James Savage http://www.usgennet.org/usa/vt/state/savage/bk3/oderic-osier.htm OSBORN, OSBOURN, or OSBURN, . JOHN, Weymouth, by w. Mary had John, b. 2 Feb. 1640; and Ephraim, 11 Aug. 1657; but how many or wh. intermediate, is not found; yet his d. Mary m. 7 May 1659, John Ross. JOHN, Windsor, m. 19 May 1645, Ann, only ch. of Richard Oldage, had John, b. 10 Jan. 1646; Ann, 15 Jan. 1648; Nathaniel, 10 Mar. 1650; Samuel, 25 July 1652, d. soon; Mary, 16 Apr. 1655; Hannah, 18 Dec. 1657; Samuel, again, 8 May 1660; Esther, 9 Aug. 1662; Isaac, 28 Sept. 1664, d. at 9 yrs.; and Sarah, 8 Feb. 1667. Elias Shadduck, and next, m. 6 Mar. 1678, Benjamin Eggleston Savage also mentions a Hannah Osborne marrying Ashcraft: A Genealogical Dictionary of The First Settlers of New England, Before 1692 Volume #1, Pgs 63 - 73 By James Savage ASHCRAFT, JOHN, Stonington 1662, m. 12 Sept. 1670, Hannah Osborne, had John, b. 1671; Hannah, 1675; Ephraim, 1677; and Mary, 1680. Prob. descend. are there; and one Thomas A. mariner from Boston, d. Sept. 1724, at Bay of Honduras, leav. will made here 13 Jan. 1723. In the third webpage has her married to first Ashcraft, then Shaddock then Eggleston. However, if she married Ashcraft in 1670, Shaddock in 1676 and Eggleston in 1678 There is a problem in Ashcraft didn't die in 1680! (The Minor Diaries) And what about poor Deliverance Blackman who was supposed to have married her in 1695. Eggleston didn't die until 1709? So the Hannah Osborn I care about is the wife of John Ashcraft. who was her mother if not Ann Oldage??? I check Worldconnect and most people have her with 3 -4 husbands. ____________________________________________________________________________ _____ 1st webpage http://members.aol.com/jancestry/JAncestry/newpage17.htm **** Source: The Descendants of John Porter, Volume II I.
