My ancestors seemed to have been drawn to the Connecticut River Valley in the 17th & 18th centuries. They lived in towns from Saybrook in the south to Hadley & Hatfield in the north and many of the ones in between. Accordingly, I've spent the last eighteen months gathering & transcribing records from the area and posting them on my website. I've had a lot of help along the way from Coralynn Brown, David Hoffman, Ray Brown, Don Smith and others. There are between 300 and 400 record files on line now along with about 80 family reports. My latest research project involves Suffield, which was first part of Massachusetts and now part of Hartford Co., CT - this makes locating records "interesting" - and Windsor, CT.
