Earlier this year, I received an inquiry regarding the death location for John Thornton (listed below - b. 14 Apr 1728). My research listed his death location as Warwick, Franklin County, Mass. The source for this location was obtained from The History of the Town of Gill, Massachusetts. Genealogies A - Z by Ralph M. Stoughton, 1960. LDS Call Number US/Can Film Area 0886882 (this research was later published in book form). The question raised was - should death location have read - Warwick, Kent County Rhode Island? (His birth location is Providence, Providence County, Rhode Island) Today, I received through Interlibrary loan the following book: "Vital Record of Rhode Island 1638 - 1850, First Series, Births, Marriages and Deaths, A Family Register For the People, by James N.
