The Families of Ancient New Haven reference doesn't give a surname for the Mary who wed Benjamin DUTTON - was her last name given in the Cheshire records? My Mary was the daughter of Deacon Daniel CONE & Mary GATES and my 8x Great grandmother.. 3. Can anyone verify that Amy Bill b. 1788 to Amy Fuller and Reuben Bill (both b. supposedly in Lebanon, CT) is the same Amy Bill (b. 1788 East Haddam, CT.) who married John Mitchell, II at Millington, East Haddam, Middlesex, CT. Amy Bill is listed as a daughter of Reuben and Amy in "Bill Family Memoirs." Reuben married a second time to Rhoda Cheesman September 2, 1794 in Dalton, Berkshire, Mass. Amy Bill's marriage to John Mitchell, II is recorded as follows: Amy Bill m. John Mitchell, 2nd. New London Gazette, Issue 1/8/1812, p. 190 Hartford Courant, Issue 1/15/1812, vol. 1, p. 29 Hartford Courant, Volume 1, p. 2 I have requested and looked at these articles, and there is no further information. Boy, would I love any help at all. Major brickwall for 6+ years. Thanks, The Pavones [email protected] http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?db=pavone
