Elizabeth Osborn born March 18, 1797 was the daughter of John Osborn, son of Alexander Osborn and Sarah Campbell Osborn. John was born about 1766. He married Elizabeth Mitchel between March 2, 1790 and April 27, 1791. they were married by Rev. Joseph Badger. John died May 9, 1807. He was 41 years old and is buried in Old Cemetery, Blandford, Mass (Blandford Chruch Record--died May 29, 1807. Elizabeth married Prentice B. Cook March 13, 1817. Elizabeth Mitchel, dau of William and Isabel (Wiley) Mitchel. She was born August 20, 1766. She died Sept 25, 1814. Elizabeth Osborn's second husband was William Knox, son of Capt William and Isabel Knox. They were married December 13, 1807. Their intentions were filed Nov 22, 1807. >From Blandford Vital Statistics p. 132. We're cousins. Bette Knox, daughter of Alexander and Sarah Campbell Knox, and sister of John Osborn was my gggggrandmother. She married Samuel Knox, son of Capt. William and Isabel Ferguson Knox.
