All living on Summer Street in Morristown, Lamoille County, Vermont in 1900 census. John TIFT's father was born in Rhode Island, according to 1900 US Census. George & Bertha had two known children: Wylie, b. c. 1894, m. Parmelia RAYMOND in 1919; and Gladys, b. 15 March 1896 in Barre, Washington Co., VT, m. Eli BOVAT 1916, location unknown. Bertha divorced George TIFT, moved to Greenfield, Massachusetts, and died 1966 in South Deerfield, Franklin Co., MA, the widow of Walter LANDON. Also seeking information on Bertha's parents, Dwight FOSTER and Flora WHITCOMB, married c. 1878-1879. Barre, Washington County, Vermont for US Census 1900 - Dwight Foster age 41 born July 1858 in Vermont. Both his parents were born in Vermont. His wife Flora was 40 and born March 1859. Both her parents were born in Vermont.
