The following information was received from a long time contributor and reader of the list. Since I've not obtained permission to include her name, I'll only say that she is a resident of Franklin County and a member of the Swift River Valley Hist. Soc. Posting read: FIRST GENERATION 1. Peter DELVEY was born in 1745 in Holland, Hampden, Massachusetts. He died on 23 Feb 1807 in Warwick, Franklin, Massachusetts. He was buried in Warwick Cemetery, Warwick, Franklin, Massachusetts. Correction and comments: Peter was not born in Holland,Ma. He was probably born in the country of Holland, presumed to be a refugee from Huguenot persecution, but this is only family history. We have never been able to prove his actual place of birth.
