    3. Richard, I've just this weekend been looking at Putnam references as have Seth PUTNAM , son of Seth b. 1754 and Dolly HOLDEN. Seth Jr. m. Nancy ROCKWELL, dau. of Jeremiah Rockwell and Anna STEARNS. Nancy was of Cornwall, Addison, VT, but marriage supposedly took place in Parishville, St. Lawrence, NY. In 1870, Nancy, b. 1790, is living with I. A. PUTNAM, b. NY, c1830 and wife Jane b. VT; Children Lewis H, c1856; Lucy C, c1855. Also with them is a Frances HOLDEN, b. c1852, NY, listed as a domestic, but I'm assuming is family in some way. I would think that I.A. is a son of Seth Putnam and Nancy Rockwell. Can you confirm this for me? Living next door is a CORWIN family with a Sara or Laura ROCKWELL b. c1802, VT. I'd like to learn who she is. The Corwin's connected to the Putnam family also, I believe. Does any of this look like your family - these came from Manchester, VT.
