While I don't see Abel in any of my references, I do have a Wood family in Shutesbury a little later coming from Plymouth after the Rev War. I have visited Shutesbury and the town clerk was very helpful. when I get home in the fall, I will check a couple of sources and see if I can help you Betty Wilson
