Cemeteries of Shutesbury,Franklin Co. first of all lets start with a little background of Shutesbury. 1761 established as a town formerly called "Roadtown": 1781 part included in the new town of WENDELL 1824 part annexed to NEW SALEM The town has "sections" and they are called: -Baconsville, Cooleyville, Lock's Pond, Lock's Village, and South Shutesbury. -------------------------------------------------------------- Now for the cemeteries: The TOWN HALL is located on Cooleyville Road,Shutesbury,Ma 01072 (phone) 413-259-1204.
