    2. Jane Devlin
    3. Thanks to Janece Streig, the extensive transcription of the 1884 History of Middletown is now complete with the posting of the 7th section on the churches and cemeteries. Janece has also transcribed the biographies of Prominent Men from Saybrook and Westfield that are contained in the book. These files will be found under today's date in the What's New index or on the main page under Town Histories & Biographies. For those of you researching in Massachusetts where many of our Connecticut ancestors first settled, Coralynn Brown has transcribed the Births to 1849 from Salem, Essex Co. and they are on line. There are a number of transcribers working on the Salem marriages and about half of these are on line to date with more to come.. For these latter files, thanks go to Frances LaMarco, Patsy McKenzie Mundale, Judith Wolfe, Abby Lumsden, Miriam Taylor-Cotton & Mary Ann Silva. In addition, I've transcribed & posted the Ancient Cemetery in Yarmouth, Barnstable Co., MA. Jane Devlin Lake Orion, MI janedevlin@ameritech.net Records from CT, MA, & MI + family lines: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~jdevlin/
