I am looking for ancestor information for James Hopkins and Mary Ann McGregor who were married in Londonderry,NH about 1770-75, Three of their children were born there: Thomas N., May 4, 1776, Mary, Mar.8, 1778, and David MacGregore, Feb.16, 1780. Mary is my ancestor. She married Robert Larkin whose family also lived in Londonderry, NH. He had brothers: John Adams Larkin and William Larkin. Both families moved to Londonderry , VT. Apparently that is where Mary and Robert were married. Roberts two brothers settled in western NY at Dansville. James and Mary Ann Hopkins' finally lived at Sardenia, NY with their son Robert. I do not know who The Larkin parents were. Robert died shortly after their son, John Adams Larkin was born in Vermont. I would like to know how he died and where he is buried. Mary Hopkins Larkin married Dr. CW Chandler in 1814 and is buried in the Chandler family plot in Weston, VT. Mary and Robert's son, John Adams Larkin married Abigail Peabody in Vermont. Abigail died the same year that their daughter, Mary Abigail was born, 1833. John Adams Larkin then married Abigail's sister Dorothy Johnson Peabody. JA, Dorothy and Mary Abigail moved to Walworth Co Wisconsin Territory about 1841. Mary Abigail married John Levant DeBow and lived in the Blair ,Wisconsin area in 1865. Their daughter, Lillie Mae DeBow was my Grandmother. She married John Henry Sykes. They raised their family in Bayfield and St. Croix Falls Wisconsin.
