A cousin recently sent me a couple of land transactions between Charles A. Chapin, Cornelia H. Chapin of Hartford County the State of Connecticut and Hartford town respectively conveying to an Edwin D. Olin of Marion County, State of Indiana a parcel of land in Green County, IA in 1866. The other transaction apparently all took place in Greene County, IA. Now, the reason I'm wondering is that our family is tied to the Chapin line from Springfield, MA and Cattaraugus County, NY as well as Enfield & Hartford, CT. This deed showed up in the same court house in Greene County, IA that some of our Chapin information came from. CAN ANYONE SHED ANY LIGHT ON THESE CHAPINS? Thanks in advance. Ron
