I am searching for the last name of Widger (will list variable spelling at end of letter). The only first name I have are James, Samuel, Peter and William. I do know that a Samuel Widger was in Stonington CT about 1704 and that a James Widger took oath of fidel., to Mass 1674. Early family history says that three or four brothers came over in the early 1600's and their names were James, Peter , William and Samuel. I also have a Samuel Widger master of the ship Nicholas 1666. I hope this is not too much information this is my first time requesting information on a mailing list. Thank you for the offer of the lookups without people like you this would be so much more difficult. Sincerely, Darlene Widger - Brant dabrant1@swns.net variable spellings of Widger: Wydger, Wedger, Wyger, Woodger, they always signed their names with Widger.
