    1. [CRV] Westbrook, Middlesex Co., CT - Upper Cemetery now on line
    2. Jane Devlin
    3. I've just completed the transcription of the Upper Cemetery in Westbrook, Middlesex Co., CT, and placed it on line at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~jdevlin/ Thanks go to Janece Streig for sending the hard copy for transcription. The burials in this cemetery range from the mid 1800s to the early 1900s. In some cases, only one half of a couple has passed at the time the cemetery was "read" in 1934 and the death date for the surviving spouse is blank. 1. [CRV] off subject - kinda- need someone's help
    2. Wilma Fleming Haynes
    3. I am sorry to bring this to the list - but I am having all kinds of problems - I have changed me email from: gencon@harborside.com To: wilmahaynes@direcway.com I unsubscribed from 'gencon' and resubscribed under my new email address - The problem is that I keep getting un-subscribed from 'wilmahaynes' telling me that my mail box is excessively full - it probably is, I can't stay subscribed long enough to get any thing but 'your un-subscribed' Now, I have re-subscribed under my old email address [which is still good]- and all seems to be working ok - any way in the last few minutes I have not been un-subscribed! So far I am not having any luck in getting in touch with any one that can help me - Thanks for letting me ask - Wilma Fleming Haynes wilmahaynes@direcway.com or gencon@harborside.com

    1. [CRV] Middlesex County - new data on line
    2. Jane Devlin
    3. Janece Streig has sent Chapter 5 of the Middlesex Co. history from the 1884 book - this section covers the medical men in the county - along with Prominent Families of Old Saybrook. These files will be found in the Town Histories & Biographies sections of the site at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~jdevlin/index.htm In addition, I've finished the transcription of the Lower Cemetery in Westbrook and it's now on line. The availability of the Westbrook cemeteries is again due to Janece who sent me the hard copies from the Hale Collection for transcription. 1. [CRV] William Morrison A Gilder
    2. Hello,    My great grandfather William Morrison was a Gilder in Scotland before he came to the USA. He was married in 1878 and it was on the marriage certicate that he was a Guilder. I know that when he came to the USA he had his own business as a Gilder in Connecticut, USA. Can you tell me how I can look up any of his work? Thank you for any information that you can give me,                 Jane        USA
