    2. Hello, Thank you for your reply. In 1942 I was told my father worked there. His occupation was mechanist. I was wondering if the Company had anything to do with the War at that time. Thank you for any information that you can give me, Jane

Between 1950 and 1968, Verplex manufactured lampshades at the property. Operations included metal plating and finishing. In 1968, Verplex went out of business. In 1979, Verplex leased the property to Tuscarora, which purchased the property in 1988. -- Wild Bill, North Pole, Alaska REALITY.SYS corrupted Reboot Universe (Y/N)?

    3. Seeking the identity of the parents of Benjamin OLCOTT who was b. 1732, possibly in East Haddam, Middlesex Co., CT. Married Naomi COMSTOCK, dau William Comstock and Mary Bates, in ca. 1736. Died Sept. 26, 1813, ae. 81 years, in Swanzey, Cheshire Co., NH. Benjamin Olcott was an original settler of Gilsum (now Sullivan), Cheshire Co., NH. He served as a private with Captain Howlett and Colonel Ashley; also in Capt. Samuel Wright's company, Stark's brigade, New Hampshire troops. Some sources say Cullick Olcott (1699-1732) was the father of Benjamin Olcott. However authors Mary Olcott ("The Olcotts and their kindred....") and Nathaniel Goodwin ("The descendants of Thomas Olcott one of the first settlers of Hartford, Ct") say Cullick had only two children, Thomas and Hannah. Cullick Olcott's will dated 22 January, 1731-2 does not mention a son Benjamin nor makes a bequeath to an expected child. _________________________________________________________________ MSN Photos is the easiest way to share and print your photos: http://photos.msn.com/support/worldwide.aspx
