I know he served in the Civil War as a private company g, 5th regiment and transferred to co. L, then co. b, 2nd battalion in Georgia. I know his wife was Nancy Missouri Clark. What I do not have is the names of his parents or where they were from. I have been unable to find anything on him before the age of 15. I am doing this research for a friend so if anyone knows any additional information on his parents, it would be greatly appreciated. 3. Hello wildmule What fortunate information you have! My Dad and my uncles were in Europe and Japan and I don't KNOW of any relatives in the Aleutian Islands. How wonderful you have photos! I hope you can meet up with some of those people. By the way, my Cruses are from Pennsylvania and Ohio. I have seen quite a few from Arkansas and Midwestern states Cruses, but few in PA!!! The best of luck to you in finding people you'd like to share with.
