Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/xdQ.2ACIB/81.2 Message Board Post: I would like to add that I was told by the burghomeister of the town that the name JUNGHOLZHAUSEN means "young wood houses" and that those who settled there in the 16th Century had come from ALTHAUSEN to the north. ALTHAUSEN means "old wood houses". However, I have been unable to find the town of ALTHAUSEN in order to see if there are any extant church records there. Has anyone else?
